This story is based on a young girl and fairy tales and it is entertaining. I really like the characters and the story flows well. I also like the gentle reminder of when you lose someone special they are not forgotten. I give this 3 stars out of 5 and recommend it for children ages 7 through 10. A film steeped in Norse mythology and folklore, Asta's Journey tells the story of a young girl on the eve of her 9th birthday. Asta's wishes come true as she embarks on an adventure through a magical forest in order to save a new friend.
