Like the fresh approach of taking the story of the bumbling crooks and making it fresh and funny while purveying an anti-violence message. Lots of slapstick violence that involves punching and guns. Up to the end, it is not pointed out that breaking and entering is wrong. Instead thee is a message that sometimes you have to do bad things to be good such as breaking back into the bank instead of turning themselves in. Some viewers might be offended by the way the Lord's Prayer was used for humor in the final bank scene. Theme is very suitable for the audience. Strength is in the humor and the developing of relationships between the adults and the children. Excellent job of weaving characters' personalities and idiosyncrasies into the story, especially with Frank's sentimentality and Dusty's toughness. You really care about what happens. You want things to work out for Frank and Tommy even though you know what they are doing is wrong. Overall, strong characters and great, clean humor.
Two bumbling wise guys are being chased by the police and rival mob gang. They seek refuge in a Catholic school. What they don't count on are four smart kids, a stern Mother Superior and an all-knowing Father Montgomery.
