Thought-provoking. Henry's character develops as he comes to terms with his beliefs. It's refreshing to see a child in the story who has both a mother and a father living with them. Some kids might be saddened by the plight of the animals but this gives them a unique perspective on who actually goes on behind the scenes at some zoos. It offers great talking points for what is good for animals and how people learn about such things. There is some mild profanity. On page five, the mother says, Oh, my Lord" and on page 20, Henry says, "you go to hell."
