Has a lot of potential. The characters start with a simple problem and their personalities and conflicts grow throughout the screenplay. The resolution is unusual yet believable. Bullies and school conflicts are very familiar topics for kids. Some will identify with the underdogs, others will identify with the person perceived as the bully. This film has the potential of helping kids relate with all sorts of people and teaching them to look at the big picture.
13-year-old Alexander thinks of himself as prey in a sea of predators - he fears the dangers that lurk around every corner. In reality, there are no dangers, nobody's out to get him, and Alexander's problems are only just beginning when he decides to take a stand.
