Kids enjoyed the 60s aspects although they found the story unrealistic and the characters irrational. They learned lessons about being nice to others, especially parents and siblings. "Most families aren't that way now."

Lively and entertaining. It demonstrates individual family members' viewpoints and how they resolve problems to create a healthy family unit. Some funny moments from adult perspective, and still sensitive to youth. Predictable and silly.
