Attentive. They recognized the characters and their traits from the books and asked to watch it again. "I liked Sister Bear." "I think everyone except bullies will want to watch this tape."

The characters are endearing. Story lines address appropriate issues such as strangers in the house. Some stereotyping, such as Mama Bear always deferring to Papa Bear. Third story has some offensive behavior that goes unrecognized.
