Despite the awards this show has won, it had almost no appeal to our child jurors. Dull and depressing. Showed people of different races making fun of each other. Film looks dated.
Very slow-moving and difficult to follow. Did not engage children despite excellent historical information and acting. Pictures some racist behaviors. Story line is hard to follow. "You really feel for the little boy in this movie."
