VEGGIE TALES: GOD WANTS ME TO FORGIVE THEM cover image
Terrific. A hoot. They really understood the concepts. "The veggies taught us to forgive." "I think it would be a great movie for preschoolers."
Negatively stereotypes Appalachian people. Engaging, bright visuals and clear animation. Great starting point for discussing fairness and forgiveness. Contains Christian overtones and numerous references to God and Jesus.
Two stories teach children a lesson in forgiveness. In "The Grapes of Wrath," Junior Asparagus leans to forgive the grapes even after they've hurt his feelings. "Larry's Lagoon" is a spoof of "Gilligan's Island" in which passengers learn to forgive.
