Excited about learning Spanish, though they found this was a little slow-moving.

A little academic but appealing, particularly to children interested in foreign languages. Its strength is the choice of words and phrases. Portrayal of the Hispanic family is stereotypical, as are the gender roles. Animation is simple.

Teaches the basics of Spanish, with Paco and his friends from Veracruz as hosts. The songs and action that fill their trips help kids recognize and recall numbers, letters colors and everyday words.
