Great happy ending. They empathize with Little Foot. "Little Foot is very brave and good to his friends because he can't do everything himself." Children wanted to watch this again and talked about it with one another.

Excellent, well produced. Opportunities to discuss friendships, making new friends and the impact of moving frequently. The characters are very sweet. Some scenes are scary. Teamwork is emphasized. Appealing songs support messages in story.

Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Ducky, Petrie and shy newcomer, Ali, set off in search of a mysterious, healing flower that grows only in the Land of Mists. A song-filled, animated addition to the continuing story of The Land Before Time.
