Stands the test of time. Older kids enjoyed it most. Younger kids ask lots of questions about the story details. Opening may be a little slow, but after becoming engaged, the kids responded well. Most appropriate for six- to ten-year-olds.
Excellent family film with timely messages and positive role models. Content is great. Story is well presented. Cinematography is beautiful. It's educational. Requires a good attention span and thinking skills. Parts are completely unrealistic.
The film that brought world awareness to the amazing intelligence of dolphins in a story about a young boy who develops a unique friendship with a wounded dolphin and loves him as a friend. Stars Chuck Conners as the fisherman.
