I have to say that, as an adult, I didn't find this compelling. However, when played for a younger audience, they responded very favorably.

The storyline is pretty simple. An older brother, nagged by his little sister to read her a bedtime story, thinks he's pulled a fast one on her by reading a horror story. But, it backfires on him.

This is well shot and well edited with good audio and a comprehensive storyline. Kudos to the 12-year-old filmmaker. As an advocate for student filmmakers I give credit for Dylan Langendorf's attention to detail here. The story, if predictable, is still a good one and one that siblings can easily relate to. My favorite part is how the little girl responds to her brother's distress. She is non-pulsed.

The film's message is: watch your intentions because sometimes they will backfire on you. I recommend this for ages 8 to 12. By Julie S., KIDS FIRST!
