This is comprised of two really short snippets, starring a blue claymation slug. The first one shows the slug waking from his nap in a field of green leafy things with red fruit. I think he's in heaven there! The second shows our friendly slug on a book shelf when the book is pushed in and squishes him - fortunately, he is able to change form and escape. His vocalization is sort of squeaky, but with intonation that kind of give us an idea of what he is thinking.
The film might make you think about what life is like as a slug.
I give Misadventures of Sydney the Slug 3.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 5 to 12, plus adults. By Marissa S., KIDS FIRST!
