The Misadventures of Bear is a short, live action, fantasy film about a woman whose attempts to sleep keep getting interrupted, thanks to one mischievous teddy bear. Fun film, silly storyline, but enjoyable. I love the filmmaker's sense of humor. Nice camerawork, even the night shots are easy to watch, thanks for good lighting. Good sound effects and background music. I particularly like how the music enhances the drama the third time the girl has to get up to turn off the TV and it only escalates from there. We are caught in the mystery of not knowing who or what keeps turning on the TV set until the last few minutes of the film when "bearmation" takes over and we discover the culprit. Nice acting by Kelly Lynn Pancho Walker as Sleepy Woman. Kudos to Jonah Lee Walker for writing, directing and producing a fun short film. The film's message is "never underestimate the power of your teddy bear. I give The Misadventures of Bear 4.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 8 to 12. By Julie S., KIDS FIRST!
