This film discusses how the increased climate changes, global warming and political policies have impacted our National Parks.
The 14-year-old student filmmaker, Robbie Bond, also narrates the film, which makes it very personable. His narration is clear, calm and persuasive. The documentary offers touching and emotional images of natural disasters. Most of the footage was not shot by the filmmaker, but his choices of images of our national parks are excellent and clear. I particularly enjoyed the drone footage at the end of the film. It's a lovely way to conclude the film. The background music suits the short film and is inspiring and ethereal. Robbie Bond's narration is very inspiring and we learn that he created a nonprofit organization, Kids Speak for Parks, to spread the word about the need to preserve our national parks. In spite of his young age, he drives home a compelling story. My only disappointment is that the film lacks a call to action, although I felt compelled to want to do something after watching this film.
