A young girl, Katya has to go to the dentist and is kind of nervous, so Kirill tries to cheer her up, but when danger arises he leaves her. Fortunately, Alexel is ready to help.
This storyline is absolutely hilarious; I love all the plot twists throughout the story, such as when Kirill leaves. It is a very professional looking film. The camera work is amazing and really captures the story. This is a student film from Russia with very sparse dialogue in Russian with English subtitles. My favorite part is when we see that Kirill is not all he seems to be. Alexel's character definitely develops as he rushes in to save Katya. Kids would find this fun and enjoyable to watch the storyline progress.
The background music definitely enhances the story.
The message of the film is you can't judge people by how they first appear.
I give Knights Are Not Afraid 4.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 8 to 12.
