Husky addresses an issue that is relevant to today's culture - body shaming.
The story follows a man and his son as they prepare for a pool party and the man is reminded of how his parents body shamed him during his youth. He decides to change the narrative and not carry this message forward to his own son.
The film is well shot, has good audio and exceptional good background music. The storyline is a bit of a challenge. I had to watch it twice to totally get the message. But it's a good one, and one worth retelling.
I give this film 3.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 8 to 18, plus adults. By Julie S., KIDS FIRST!
