The story is about a young boy who reads and believes a legend that says if you see a light flash rapidly that means evil is coming for you.
The storyline is interesting and it kept me engaged the whole time. It is a bit creepy but it turned out not to be too bad. The camera work and audio recording is quite good, especially considering that a lot of it was filmed in the dark. There is some really cool creepy background music used throughout most of the film and it definitely suits the story and adds a bit more drama and action to the scenes. The young boy is played by 12 year old Hunter Nickless, who is also the writer, director and editor of the film. My favorite part was learning that everything terrible that happens is in a dream.
The message is that you should beware of believing legends as not everything you hear is true. Note that it contains bloody, gory acts of violence in the dream sequence.
I give Haunted for Life 4.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 10 to 18, plus adults. Reviewed by Avalon N, KIDS FIRST!
