The storyline is about when Jodea (ChloeTraicos), a struggling young actress, crashes into the car of a very famous film director (Jeff Coppage) and this event changes her life.
The script is well written; I especially enjoyed the way Zac talks to the actors, which is very funny. My favorite part is when Zac and Jodea are training to box and she accidentally punches Zac instead of hitting the spot where the punch is supposed to go. That is too funny! Some other things I love are the acting, because they not only act, but they give life to the character. All the actors are amazing. Something else that I love is when Jodea is showing her talent for the first time. I really like the background music, because it gives us an energetic vibe or a sad one. For example when Zac is training Jodea to be an actress, there background song in that scene is infectious. The costumes are also noteworthy, because they are right for every occasion. I particularly love the outfits for Jodea and Zac, especially Jodea's red carpet costume. They are radiant!
The message is that we shouldn't give up on our dreams. Don't listen to bad people; believe in those we love with our eyes closed and there will always be someone who will care FOR us.
I give Introducing Jodea 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 14 to 18, plus adults. It releases in theaters November 16, 2021.

I love the romantic comedy Introducing Jodea directed by Jon Cohen and written by Chloe Tricos. It is completely entertaining, exciting and humorous. Its light-hearted, humorous plot lines center on romantic ideas, such as how true love is able to surmount most obstacles.
Introducing Jodea is a teen romantic comedy about a struggling young actress, Jodea Maxwell (Chloe Traicos), whose fortunes change when a world famous movie director Zac Kawalsky (Jeff Coppage) drives into the back of her car. Desperate, the actress uses the opportunity to beg Kawalsky for a role in his latest movie, but her audition is woeful to say the least. However Zac's agent Grant tempts him with a bet he can't refuse, the condition being that Zac has one week to make Jodea a brilliant actress.
My favourite character is Chloe Tricos because she never gives up even when she is told that she cannot become an actress because she is ugly and she can't act. Chloe keeps on trying and pushing until she succeeds. My favourite part is when Zac Kawaslky's agent Grant (Kent Hatch) tells Jodea that she is a very bad actress, but Jodea still believes in herself and knows that she can do it, she just needs help. The production design and costume are on point and very well executed. Introducing Jodea is very engaging and intriguing; it is definitely worth checking out. I can see it catching on with audiences.
We all like to feel that dreams can come true and that true love does exist, which is the message of this film - the traditional Cinderella story that'll make you laugh and cry. The idea that you can accomplish anything if you put your mind and soul to it; that you should not give up when you get bad feedback and that you should be resilient and determined.
I give Introducing Jodea 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 13 to 18, plus adults. Introducing Jodea releases in theatres November 16, 2021. Save the date!
