The storyline follows two gnomes living in a hole in the wall and want to find a new place to live. A lady starts talking about her greenhouse and the gnomes overhear her, knowing where their new home should be. They make a daring adventure towards the greenhouse, only to be greeted by the lady with welcoming arms. The two gnomes live happily ever after in the greenhouse. The problem and plot of the story promotes kindness. There is a problem that the gnomes are able to fix which involves problem solving skills. The camera work for this short film is great. I like all the different backgrounds and the combination of live action and animation. The sets and locations are bright, have fun colors, and are quite whimsical. I really enjoyed the part where the gnomes travel through the carpet. My favorite part is when the gnomes land in the greenhouse and the lady finds out she has gnomes living in her house.
The message of the film is to never give up. The gnomes do not give up, even when their adventure to the greenhouse gets difficult.
I give this 3 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 2 to 6. Reviewed by Avery P., KIDS FIRST! Film Critic
