From a kids' point of view, this student production delivers a pretty solid storyline that holds together the story from start to finish. The camera work is pretty good, the audio is excellent, background music suitable and enhancing. My only concern is that it gets off to a bit of a slow start, but definitely picks up midway. It's a well told fantasy, with a bit of animation thrown in to enhance the background of the Spaghetti Monster. I recommend it to the KIDS FIRST! Film Festival, especially for those featuring student productions. I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 8 to 12. Reviewed by Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Juror.
