We don't often accept short films with medical messages, but this one is so absolutely well done, with wonderful puppets, animation and live action characters, that it deserves a slot. Asthma has become such a common medical condition for kids and it is a scary disease. This is fun, informative, creative and educational all at once. Kudos to the Nashville production team for such a well executed production. Even if you don't have asthma, it's entertaining and informative. Definitely deserves consideration for inclusion in your festival. I give this 4.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it to ages 4 to 12. I am completely impressed. Reviewed by Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Juror.
All Brave Me videos help kids who are facing medical situations. In this story, Riley is feeling anxious about his asthma and when he arrives at Brave Me Headquarters for a bravery boost, he takes a journey to Medical Mountain, Emotion Ocean and Courage Canyon. He finds out he really is stronger than asthma.
