Very interesting and of a genre all of its own in many ways. It is both a documentary about Native American storytelling which includes examples of illustrated storytelling. Both of which combined make it information and entertaining at the same time. I highly recommend this, especially for any venue looking for films about Native American culture. It is beautifully shot and edited with excellent on camera talent who share their insight into their culture and history. I give this 3.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 7 to 18, as well as adults. Reviewed by Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Juror.
The Northern Arapaho People of the Wind River Indian Reservation of Wyoming are story tellers. In an effort to pass their culture to the next generation the Elders tell the children four traditional stories, using clay animation, shadow puppets, paintings, drawings and performance, the children make the stories come to life.
