This is one episode of a web series that illustrates how to utilize scotch tape to make a creative and abstract piece. I like the concept that anyone can create. This is a very hands-on production (how-to) about how anyone, from a 7-year-old to an adult, can bring out their inner artist using sketch work lines, squiggles, multi-colored markers and re-positioning scotch tape. It exemplifies simple artistry than literally anyone can do. This 3:45 minute short makes a good mini movie with a message. The camera angles are excellent with various shots from above that give the viewer a very clear look at the design as it develops. The vibrant colors and clearness of the picture are also necessities for viewer drawings in real-time. The set appears to be an artistic work area where Herve Tullet creates fun stuff. The white background is effective in enhancing the focus on the drawings. The background music keeps the viewer engaged and stimulated during the episode. Herve Tullet makes a charming on-camera talent. You should know that the dialogue is in French with English sub-titles. The message is about creating art with as simple a thing as scotch tape. I give this 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 5 to 12. Reviewed by Kimberly M. and Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Jurors
