Sweet. I have always loved this poem and Evan Kimball brings it to life in a very charming way. The young girl is played straightforward and honestly. Her narration of the poem is timed exquisitely with the action. The background music sounds slightly Oriental and enhances the whole thing with its quiet overtones. This would make a perfect interstitial at a children's or family film festival, something that people can relax into and enjoy. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 5 to 18, as well as adults. Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Juror.
