This show has a lot going for it. The pace reminds me of Mr. Rogers as it takes its time to explore different themes. That's a good thing, especially in contrast to all the fast-paced shows commonly available on TV today. This episode features a group of scouts and their leader getting ready to embark on a camping trip, only to get side railed by bad weather and then discover that one person in the group is afraid of the dark and another is afraid of thunderstorms. Yikes. In true scout fashion, the leader turns lemons into lemonade and they end up overcoming their fears and having a fun time. This is well produced with good video and audio qualities although, at times the audio is difficult to hear. I hope the filmmaker can provide a copy with better audio levels for exhibition. The talent is well cast, from the leader to the 3 scouts to the dog muppet. They are all quite believable and all have good singing voices as well. This is a student production by quite an accomplished filmmaker and it appears that this might be the beginning of a series, which would be quite suitable. I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 4 to 7. Reviewed by Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Adult Juror.
