Highly recommended for KIDS FIRST! Film Festivals. Look Ma, no hands! What a great idea to exercise your acting chops, instead of wasting time in the midst of a typical LA traffic jam. Grab onto any role with both hands and sing your emotional heart out! This frustrated young actress utilizes her down time in traffic in very productive ways. She practices used car commercial voiceovers, romantic scenes, ditsy blonde dialogue, and other acting challenges while stuck in the slow lane. The use of black and white cinematography brings back an old, traditional LA film noir movie feel. It's always been one of those perfect cities for this genre. Although this film does not have any dark, depressing overtones, which are common in film noir. My favorite part is when the actress serenades the little rubber ducky held in both her hands. One might be concerned about driver safety behind the wheel, but let's just bend the rules and think/drive outside the box a bit. The message is, you've got plenty of talent to share. There's no need to keep it all cooped up inside. Make the most of every waking moment. I give this film 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 10 to 18. Adults will enjoy it as well.
