I highly recommend this short animation film to the KIDS FIRST! Film Festival. It examines life from the point of view of an egg and two pieces of bacon. I love the simplicity of the animation. It is straightforward, comical and a bit sad all at once. When an egg has eyes, it makes you think twice about consuming it. The sound quality is excellent. The animation is simple, yet well executed. The storyline flows very well and is easily watchable as well as entertaining. The film has a funny way of expressing how being eaten by a human might be an animal's nightmare. I believe children will appreciate the funny aspect of the film and, at the same time, understand and think about the message. In its subtle way, it teaches you about caring how other beings feel. I definitely recommend this for the KIDS FIRST! Film Festival, especially if the venue is focused on ethics or insight. I recommend it for ages 7 to 18, as well as adults and give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Reviewed by Elizabeth V. and Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Adult Jurors.
