Love this! The animation in this short film from Hungary is absolutely incredible. The colors are magnificent and truly catch the audience's eye. The music is beautiful and unlike anything I have ever heard. The overall production quality is excellent. You can see the hard work the animators put into making this. This episode has a strong main character who learns that money is not everything. It imparts an important message and teaches young viewers the importance of family and love. The most appealing aspects of this film are the animation and story, both of which are very child friendly. The animation includes such brilliant and beautiful colors. Also, it is worth mentioning that this is an episode of a television series. This episode stands alone quite well, has a clear story that is easy to follow and will keep the audience engaged. I found it a bit confusing when Aluno meets Lunica and he tells her that his father told him that she would come one day. It does not make sense because Aluno's father rarely speaks to Aluno. There are some words in this short that may be a bit too advanced for younger children but can easily be explained. One theme that is prevalent is greed, although it is emphasized that family and love are far more important than money. I highly recommend this for KIDS FIRST! Film Festival programmers. It is overflowing with positive messages, gorgeous animation is gorgeous and beautiful songs and music. I recommend it for ages 8 to 18 and give it 4 out of 5 stars. You should know the dialogue is in Hungarian with English subtitles. Reviewed by Chandler D., KIDS FIRST! Juror
