What a stunning piece of animation and a cool, novel idea using the actual Mars Rover as the protagonist. Love that! The animation is top shelf, almost seamless. The voiceover quite appropriately "robotic" sounding. The Mars landscape immediately drew me in and I wanted to see more. Actually I went to NASA's site because I remember reading recently that the Rover is still active after 14 years on the red planet. I love the imaginative tale of this Rover who seems to have a mind of his/her own. Can't wait to see subsequent episodes. My one question is about the music. Does the youth filmmaker have a license to use the copyrighted music? If not, we cannot accept. I give this lovely short 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 8 to 18.
