Fascinating! I fell in love with this very creative animated short film. The non-narrative story takes you on a wild adventure through the eyes of a young boy named Felix. Elena, who recently moved into a new neighborhood feels as if she is going insane living in her boring world, until a mysterious boy approaches her. She dons his odd glasses and suddenly, is exposed to a completely different world. This film allows the viewers to explore how a child's imagination can help a friend. I think tweens and teens will enjoy this because it is so creative and well done. I particularly love the visuals. They are quirky and interesting. You never know what will happen next. It is truly unique. I strongly recommend this film for ages 10 to 18, as well as adults and give it 4.5 of 5 stars. Reviewed by Lizeth G. and Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Film Critic and KIDS FIRST! Juror.
Elena moves into a neighborhood where nothing ever seems to happen. Living in such an allien and uneventful place leads her to an overwhelming sense of apathy that threatens to drive her insane. Nevertheless, a strange-looking, adventurous kid called Felix is about to introduce her to a parallel world.
