I love this short film. It's beautifully executed. The blend of animation and live action is pretty seamless. The live actors are charming and suitable for their roles. The voice actor for the goldfish is simply outstanding. Great background music, plot. It's a perfectly constructed short film that I would love to see expanded into a longer piece. It leaves you wanting more. Nemo watch out! You've got competition!!! Highly recommended. I give it 5 out of 5 stars and recommend for ages 8 to 18. Reviewed by Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Juror

Rodrigo, a charismatic talking goldfish, has had enough of his hapless owner Conner. Tired of performing tricks for snacks, our scaly hero sets his sights on Bianca, a beautiful marine biologist. The Talking Goldfish is a comedic short film merging live action with CG animation to bring a photo-realistic talking 3D goldfish to life. Almost nine years in the making and self-funded by director Roger An, The Talking Goldfish, is a funny, thought-provoking journey into the minds of one of our most innocuous but personable of pets. The Talking Goldfish is the children's version of the Alpha Fish short.
