This story centers on a brother and a sister building a kite. It's not too complicated. I like that this film stars Islamic actors and the cinematography is really pretty. We see the affects on them of the culture they live in that doesn't allow girls to do many things, include flying a kite that boys can do. That brings a sadness to the story and to their relationship that these children live with every day. The story is well told, beautifully shot and thought provoking. And sometimes, the subtitles move too fast. I really enjoyed this film and think it gives us great insight into another culture. I recommend it to ages 12 to 18 as well as adults. Younger children may not understand the reason behind the restrictions
