I love this little live action student short about a boy and his teddy bear. It's done in a very very quirky slap stick comedic style with no dialogue and is absolutely charming. The storyline is about a boy who receives a teddy bear for his birthday, loves it very much and takes it everywhere with him. Created by teenage filmmakers, I commend their production values, which are pretty good - from the camera work to the background music and editing. Some of the costumes are quite silly such as giant wigs and fake beards that aren't realistic, but they are fun. There are no spoken words, but there are some written captions like old silent movies have. The storyline will appeal to anyone who may feel that they are getting too old for their favorite toys. The story is easy to follow and enjoyable movie to watch. The most appealing thing is how much the boy loves his teddy bear, like I do. Kids would like this film because most children have a favorite stuffed toy. The message here is to be true to yourself even if you get teased for it
This is a silent film in the slap-stick comedy genre about a boy and his special gift - a teddy bear.
