Very enjoyable, especially for dog lovers. This student short has an interesting concept and subtle political side. It features many adorable dogs and teaches a well-needed message about finding the root to a problem. It has a nonlinear story line, which works. There is no resolve. Instead, there is a comedic ending that leaves it up to the viewer to decide. There is one foul word. All the camera work is well done, especially the drone shots. The sets also are quite believable, visually appealing and the radio station scenes are particularly well done. There is nothing that screams cinematic about this, but it will translate to a big screen just fine. It has enough cute dogs and relevant commentary to be compelling. Its stance on political issues is relevant in today's culture. Using dogs as a euphemism works perfectly. Overall, it is an enjoyable film that I recommend for the KIDS FIRST! Film Festivals for ages 10 to 18 and up. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Reviewed by Keefer B and Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Film Critic and KIDS FIRST! Juror.
