This is a beautifully produced piece from the cinematography to the background music, the acting, direction, costumes and location. The topic of death is a bit heavy for the KIDS FIRST! Film Festival partners. I am going to recommend it because of its excellence. I can't promise that many of our KIDS FIRST! Film Fest partners will select it. It does deserve recognition as an outstanding film. I would give it 4.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 12 to 18. Reviewed by Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Juror.
The story of an unlikely friendship. A young boy sitting by the sea, watching the stones he throws disappear beneath the surface. An old lighthouse keeper. A different truth beyond the water.
