This DVD has a good balance of entertainment and educational elements for kids ages 4 to 6. Because the characters sound like kids and, for the most part, behave like kids too, I feel that the characters are engaging, and relatable. The wow factor for a kid, especially boys, is that the dinosaur characters ride a train and zeppelin. The conductor character is silly and engaging and I'm sure kids watching look forward to seeing the conductor. The storylines clearly aim to educate its audience about dinosaur, paleontology, natural science, natural history and positive social behaviors. I think it is great that one of the brothers from the pack looks different, as it gives the audience a good introduction to inclusion and diversity. The character designs are adorable and the use of bright colors appeals to its intended audience. I also enjoyed the songs and the relationship between the kids and their parents. Overall a great show!
