A very compelling film about bullying. Based on a true story. This short film by an English filmmaker is about a school-aged girl with an active imagination being bullied at school. She'd rather not speak and prefers life as a horse, but the girls at school just won't leave her alone. It is a little different and I like that it has a happy ending and good acting. The scenes are realistic and the story line flows well. It is a bit unbelievable, but still a good story. It has good visual appeal, enjoyable scenes and settings and an enjoyable soundtrack. I love how the young girl overcomes her problems through her love for horses. Its message is about love and kindness. Although there are some bullying scenes, the violence is not over the top. I recommend this for ages 9 to 18 and give it 4 out of 5 stars. Recommended for KIDS FIRST! Film Festivals. Reviewed by KIDS FIRST! Juror, Denise B. and Julie S.
