Highly recommended! This is a funny film. You can tell it's going to be entertaining just by the title. Children will enjoy this because there is a lot of age-appropriate humor. This is a great film for school-aged kids. It teaches several great lessons such as: girls are powerful, independent and can make their own choices; put your loved ones before yourself; follow your dreams no matter what anyone says. It is very colorful, has great songs that kids will enjoy, is very humorous and still appropriate for young children. The sound quality is very strong. There is strong dialogue, great music and singing. Visually, it is quite appealing with tons of colors, great props and excellent cinematography. Every scene has great visual quality. The sets, locations, sets and costumes fit the storyline. The production quality is pretty much flawless. This film flows very well. It makes sense even though it takes place in an imaginary world. It is very watchable. Parents may not like all the singing and corny jokes, but younger kids will really enjoy them. The vocabulary is well suited for its intended audience because many of the words are nonsense, made up words - making it humorous. I enjoyed it myself as an adult. I recommend it for ages 5 to 12 and give it 4 out of 5 stars. Reviewed Rebecca St. John, KIDS FIRST! juror
A space exploring Princess discovers she can control time with her butt. Does this mean she has 'the chosen butt'?
Princess Kimberly must now choose between fulfilling her 'royal duty' by marrying eccentric Prince Doofmuncher or going on a crazy space adventure to save her beloved home planet, known as Pickle Bottom 5.
Prince Doofmuncher, like Kimberly, never felt quite right about being royalty; he never felt like a Prince, or even a human. He always felt like he was ...a hot dog. Doofmuncher decides to "come out of the bun" and starts wearing an oversized hot dog suit. His dream is to meet an elusive Warlock named Gary who turns people into hot dogs.
Skipping their arranged wedding, Kimberly takes off in Prince Doofmucher's ship and the duo embark on the adventure of a lifetime to save Pickle Bottom 5 (and perhaps find a Warlock named Gary along the way!).
