I really enjoyed this student short, created in the style of black and white silent films. The storyline is about two men who get into a fight over a woman. The flickering image, the background piano music and the Chaplinesque movements of the characters are funny and carried out quite well. Every movement and action is overdone.
There are subtitles to let the audience know what is being said. I think young children will enjoy this and find it funny. It flows well. Makes sense and is very watchable. It could benefit from a little more detail when it comes to the plot but, it's suitable for a youth or student film festival. I recommend it for ages think this film is best for ages 10 to 18 and give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. Reviewed by Kelsey M., KIDS FIRST! Juror.
A old fashioned story about two men brawling over a woman.
