This non-narrative film is absolutely adorable, is easy to understand and teaches a valuable lesson about helping others. The animation is stunningly beautiful with brilliant colors and interesting characters. The sound effects and music are charming and engaging. The story takes place in a town that has no water when a small boy is awakened in the middle of the night by some stray cats harassing a stray fish. The little boy rescues the fish but there isn't enough water and the fish almost dies. Water miraculously returns to the town and the boy is able to provide the fish with adequate water. In gratitude, the fish repays them with something that will changes the boy's life. This short film is full of heart and a valuable lesson about how important it is to help someone, no matter how small or how big they are. I recommend this for ages 5 to 12 and give it 5 out of 5 stars. Reviewed by Kelsey M. KIDS FIRST! Juror
It's a starry night when Oscar sees from his window... a little goldfish jumping on a dirty puddle! Two cats are watching from the shadows. Oscar will help the goldfish through a rampant adventure in a nighty Latin American, with the lack of water as a backdrop
