I really enjoyed watching this and think children will enjoy it as well, especially with its fun twist on monsters. It was produced by an acting student and included an interesting cast such as Gayla Goehl (Dreamtown, Bad Little Fairies, House MD), Joe Spence (All Right), Lee Sherman (Contract Killers, Calamities of Jane), Fernando Aldaz (The People vs OJ Simpson: America Crime, The Jodi Arias Story) and Sam Parker (Transformers 5). The acting is a bit goofy, but it seems to be intentional and works well. It flows well, makes perfect sense and is extremely watchable. The language is very suitable for its intended audience. This short really makes you feel as if you are on the set of a mock documentary. It's great. The production values are very good. It is well lit, has great audio and great camera work. Very impressive for a student production. This will work very well on the big screen. I think this makes a fun inclusion for any youth and family film festival and would make a fun series. The message is about fitting in. This is my favorite submission I have reviewed so far. I recommend this for ages 9 to 15 and give it 4 out of 5 stars. Reviewed by Rachael V., KIDS FIRST! Juror.
Immortals, weird, strange and unusual beings want fame too, so they go to an elite Hollywood acting school that teaches them to be more like humans...sort of.
