This is a fun film that brings up issues for great discussions among the viewers. Without giving away the ending, I'll stay away from what those issues may be. I was concerned about the use of the music and whether the filmmaker has the rights to use it. However, he has assured me that he does. My other concern is that in the beginning of the film, when the girl is whispering into her cell phone you can hardly make out what she is saying. But, it's cute and well constructed as a student film so, I am going to give it a recommendation. Julie S. KIDS FIRST! juror
A young girl dreams of competing in the Olympics and a local fun run offers her a first opportunity to prove herself. This short comedy was 100% improvised by the lead actor (also the director) when she was just 11 years old.
