This episodic show has great potential. As a play off the plethora of "made by adult" cooking shows, having these youth hosts is refreshing and new. The somewhat incompetent producer provides some comic relief and the time travel to discover the origins of the food du jour - chile - is perfect. The pace works well. The graphics are bright and fun. The charming talent couldn't be better. I can't wait to see the next episode. Recommended for KIDS FIRST! Film Festivals for ages 8 to 12. Preteens Alex and Taylor are the hosts of Nosh, a kids' cooking show that focuses on one popular dish per episode. With the assistance of their bumbling yet well-meaning young producer, Reese, and occasional guest chefs, the hosts show kids at home how to cook simple, delicious recipes, from spaghetti to chicken pot pie to pizza. In each episode, the hosts delve deeper into the history behind their favorite foods. Through the magic of time travel (and green screen), they teleport through time and space to better understand the origins of the recipes they're creating.
