Quite admirable student production! Any elementary or middle school student would truly relate to this and get a few laughs out of it. This short is well crafted and has good production values, most notably the cinematography and the soundtrack. While there are strengths in the production values, it does suffer at times that the story lacks depth and the acting is a bit sub-par. However, considering that this is from a 14-year-old filmmaker, it is quite commendable. The sets are very well designed and the location works very well. The story flows well with a clear beginning middle and end and it makes sense. The plot is quite believable and would appeal to grade school and middle school kids as they can relate to the setting, the characters and the storyline. Highly recommended for a youth or family film festival as a student production. It is most suitable for kids 8 to 12 years old.
The Candy Girl clandestine business has been operating smoothly in school until the principal infiltrates an undercover spy in the group. Would the infiltrator betray them?
