Fantastic cinematography and visual appeal. We are treated to a variety of breathtaking sequences ranging from above the clouds to below the depths of the ocean. We are treated to high-definition viewing of the cool creatures that live in the ocean. The only downside that really sticks out is the fact that, as a documentary, it could have done a better job of teaching the audience about the ocean and the creatures that is showcases. I recommend this production to ages 10 to 18.
The cinematography, the shots, and the camera angles are crucially important to a production like this. Thankfully this production succeeds in that respect with flying colors. If the purpose was to showcase the beauty of undersea life, than this is a near perfect production. It flows well, has a clear beginning, middle and end and it very watchable. It's captivating to see these animals in their natural habitats. Thee is fantastic visual appeal with a variety of shots. My only complaint is I would have liked to learn a bit more about what I was watching.
The Blue Beyond takes us on a journey straight into the blue of the beautiful Maldivian islands and under the surface of the Indian Ocean. There we meet giant manta rays, sharks, moray eels and many other inhabitants of our seas. From Germany in English. Big and small, colorful or well hidden fish and other creatures just wait for us to be discovered.
