Nora Tomorrow is a sensitive film with a resonant message, high production values, nuanced performances, and challenging subject matter. A bright teenager, Nora struggles with Tourette's syndrome. Fearful of being judged, she habitually cuts classes, and is assigned to a psychiatrist with his own emotional demons. Nora may be his last chance to earn a patient's trust. Pushed to reveal his own challenges, the psychiatrist breaks through to Nora, advising that no one is "normal" - be yourself. Note: There is one swear word at the beginning of the film. Reviewed by Ann B.
Having lost the ability to connect with his patients, a burnt-out psychiatrist stands to lose his job. His next session might be his last. The patient is a frustrated teen struggling with Tourette's syndrome. She wears her problems on the outside, he wears his on the inside. In order to break her stonewall he must leave his comfort zone.
