I personally found Location, Location, Location the most intriguing. It shows how crucial and important location is for when certain animals build their homes such as the beaver. When animals build their homes it is not always such a simple procedure and I found it so interesting to see that it can be complex. The narration and scenery adds so much to this series.
I recommend it for classrooms and also for family viewing. It is such a wonderful way to learn more about animals such as different varieties of birds, beavers and black bears. This DVD series will definitely give children a better perspective on how animals make their homes. It is quite an intriguing process!
Animal Homes was filmed both in the U.S. and abroad. The U.S. locations include the Connecticut coast (ospreys and saltmarsh sparrows), North Carolina (ducks), Hawaii (albatross), outside Burlington, Vermont (ravens), Maryland (black bears) and Jackson Hole, Wyoming (beavers).
Available June 16th and will also be available for digital download.
