Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over is absolutely fantastic! The movie is based around a virtual reality video game. The greenscreen special effects are mind blowing and make me feel like I am actually in the game. The plot of the story is for special agent Juni Cortez, played by Daryl Sabara, to save his sister who is stuck in the game, and then stop the Toymaker, an evil villain, from controlling the minds of all kids and taking over the world.

I like this movie because there is a lot of adventure and it involves kids my age acting as under cover spies. In the game, you travel through different dimensions and your character is like an updated version of yourself. There are different levels and programming that make the levels even harder. There is a trick part in the game when the characters have to jump off a cliff into what they think is hot lava but on the way down they land on rocks they use to surf with, on the lava. Turns out that the lava is cold and they can swim through to the level that shuts down the game.

My favorite part is when Juni's dad, played by Antonio Banderas, is working on a mechanic brain. He says it is the most important part of his life and nothing can stop him from activating the brain which will make him smarter. However, when Juni desperately needs him, he smashes his invention and flies to rescue his son. It is a moment when a father plays hero.

Demetra played by Courtney Jines does an awesome job. She actually helps Juni escape. Even though she is a deceiver, her outfit rocks! My favorite character is Grandpa played by Ricardo Montalba. In the real world, he is in a wheel chair. However, in the game, the energy he has in his legs from 30 years of sitting make him twice as strong which is helpful to Juni because he is protected by his overly powerful Grandpa.

The moral of this story is revenge solves nothing and forgiveness is a key to feeling free inside. Also, it is better to work as a team than to stand alone.

This movie is perfect for ages 5 through18. If you are a gamer, and most boys are, you will definitely love the animation. If you are a girl, you will still enjoy it because it's just fun to watch with lots of excitement. I give it a five out of five dazzling stars!
