This is a really good film and it satisfies me from the very beginning to end. It teaches me a little about diabetes and how to deal with it. It targets the right age group and has a great message. I like that it is educational, a story designed like a documentary.
This is a real story about a boy and his family and how they deal with the boy's diabetes on an everyday basis. At 18 minutes it's just the right length for this type of content and will teach you a lot about how diabetes affects it's victims, while reminding you that people are people first, not disease first.
A family comes to terms with their son's diagnosis with type 1 diabetes. It stars Benjamin Busch (author of DUST TO DUST; HBO's "The Wire" and "Generation Kill") and Nicholas Masucci who has had type 1 diabetes for the last three years.
